Part P Certificate

New laws came into effect regarding a Part P certificate which meant domestic installers (including approved domestic installers) carrying out any electrical work in dwellings* must arrange for a building regulations compliance certificate to be sent out to the customer. This should be done within 30 days.

In simpler terms a Part P Certificate must be filled out by the installer so a building control certificate can be sent out. This is the law.
