Buy Calling Card

The Calling Card are not your usual band. Growing up in South Wales you are taught from a young age that it’s either conform or don’t even bother. The Calling Card said “Stuff That!” By mixing the raw onstage energy of a Hardcore/Punk band with the timeless songs of an Oasis or U2, The Calling Card effortlessly becomes a new style of band. Having formed in December 2009 they have already supported many well-known acts (without any management backing or anything like that) such as Ian Watkins, Zebrahead, Attack! Attack!, Mike Fantastic (Britain’s Got Talent), MC Lars, Twenty-Twenty, Alkaline Trio and Deaf Havana while also being chosen to play at the Newport County Festival based on their reputation as a great live band. Their song “Let’s Stay Young” was chosen as song of the week by Adam Walton on his BBC Radio Wales show. The Calling Card are not part of a current trend nor do they choose to be. They just concentrate on writing the perfect songs for people to sing along to.
