I created Renaissance Furniture Restoration in 1993. Before that I
had twenty years of previous experience in restoration furniture in
Ukraine, where I was able to learn the traditions of master craftsmen of
the past.
Since settling in San Francisco in 1991, I have studied the advances
of modern technology while working for local restoration companies and
experimenting with different materials.
Soon after its establishment Renaissance was recognized by many collectors, dealers, and designers.
As a result, in 1995, Renaissance Restoration was awarded the
“Certificate of Honor” by the Board of Supervisors of the City and
County of San Francisco “in recognition of the tradition of fine
craftsmanship, pride and service which the company brings to the people
of San Francisco.
