India Sim Card

India Sim Card

Thanks for the pointers guys, I've had a quick look at the posts mentioned, if anything, it'll be trying to use the 3G network in India for things like quickly sending a tweet or an email and using maps if nothing else, I'll only ever send the odd text back to the UK. I think I'll give it a try anyway, from what you've said it is all quite cheap. It is just an iPhone 3G rather than a 4 (I wish it was a 4 though) so any old SIM should go in without the need for a quick trim.Could have edited, but this is another answer, sort of... Does your phone use the regular SIM or the new mini SIM? You must cut the regular one to fit, and there is a post in Travel Tech talking about this - just a couple of days ago, easy to find.
