Timber Oil interior/exterior is
designed for Timber Decks and outdoor furniture, exterior
panelling, windows, sandpits, box framing, rafters, pergolas etc.
As an alternative to PU and Epoxy finishes. Made from renewable
materials like plant oils and resins. They are gentle to the
environment. Eco friendly, natural and non toxic. Penetrating and
finishing oil, which deepens and enhances the natural grain of the
timber. It is resistant to dirt and moisture. Suitable for;
exterior panelling, garden furniture, windows, sandpits, box
framing, rafters, pergolas, etc. Not to be used on alkaline
surfaces, plaster, concrete or fibro-cement. If considering use on
those materials a test-strip should be made to assess
suitability.
PROTECTION: Protection against weather and
wood-destroying ultra-violet light. One to three coats are
recommended depending on the absorbency of the timber. Box frames,
timber windows, cladding and end grains must be treated BEFORE
INSTALLATION. It is also good practice to prime all back
surfaces.
