We’ve been keeping an eye on the ZTE Tania Windows Phone over the past few months: long time readers will know we’ve heralded it as the start of a new era for Windows Phone, in the budget market. Compared to all the cheapo Android phones out there, a £150 Windows Phone on Pay As You Go gives a far more pleasant, hassle-free user experience.
Here’s the thing: it’s great. But there’s a problem: you can’t buy it anywhere.
No networks are stocking it, and the major retailers like Carphone Warehouse have given it a pass. Phones4U has ignored it but backed the cheap Android Blaze phone from arch-rival Huawe
