The Electrical Safety Authority is encouraging the public to request
copies of the “Certificate of Inspection” for all electrical work done
in their homes/businesses. The General Inspection
provides the end-use customer with a record that all electrical work in
their home/business complies with the requirements defined in the
Ontario Electrical Safety Code.
The Certificate of Inspection is sent to the permit applicant -- ask your contractor for a copy of the Certificate.
